Want to know two great ways you can contribute to the University's environmental efforts?

Remanufactured Toner Cartridges
Recycled Paper

The University's largest office product expenditures are for toner and paper. By purchasing recycled paper you can help conserve energy and trees! By purchasing remanufactured toner cartridges you can reduce petroleum usage, green house gas emissions, the number of cartridges discarded in landfills, and save energy and money while doing it!

Want to save money on your laser printer cartridges?

In an effort to reduce your toner costs, and Duke's environmental impact, Corporate Express is offering remanufactured cartridges at a lower price, for many of the commonly used printer cartridges. These cartridges from Corporate Express are 100% compatible and fully guaranteed. Please remember to give your empty toner cartridges to your Corporate Express delivery drivers. There is a recycling program in place for all brands of toner cartridges.

Want to contribute to our recycled paper initiative?

It is true that recycled paper can be slightly more expensive than virgin paper, but you can offset the additional cost by switching to remanufactured toner cartridges, as described above. In addition, by increasing recycled paper purchases, demand will increase, which will help work towards reducing recycled paper costs. Look for paper products that are minimum 30% post-consumer recycled material, like the ones shown below.
